Add your sport, school, position, and city in Settings so we know who you are and where you play. None of it is published anywhere: there is no public NextSigned profile page, no directory, and no way for a stranger to browse you. Your details exist so we can screen your calls well.
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should be on the account with you. Invite them by email from your dashboard. Once they accept and create an account, they can see your call activity and help manage your settings and subscription. Either of you can end that access at any time.
Your trusted circle is the short list of people who are allowed to reach you directly: family, coaches, your school's compliance contact. Everyone else goes through screening first.
NIL stands for Name, Image, and Likeness. As a college athlete you have the right to be paid for endorsements. Most schools require you to disclose deals. Check with your school's NIL coordinator before signing anything if you are unsure. NextSigned is not a party to your deals and does not process payments for them.
Athlete Shield gives you a dedicated phone number powered by IntelliLine Solutions, an established answering service. AI screens every call the moment it lands, a real human handles anything that is not routine, and only the people on your allow list get through. It is a monthly subscription, and it is the only thing NextSigned sells. Think of it as your personal bouncer.
When a caller turns out to be a legitimate business with a real proposal, Shield logs it with a summary and a transcript so you and the people you trust can follow up on your own terms. Anything that looks like a scam, a pressure tactic, or an advance-fee request is flagged for a human to review before it ever reaches you.
